The Health Sciences Library and the Office of Research Compliance and Training invite you to join us as we embark on a journey to promote digital scholarship. We will hear from the experts about diverse and equitable access to information, intellectual property, negotiation, compliance, authorship, the role of impact metrics and more!
By the end of the program, you will be able to:
- Utilize strategies to promote digital scholarship
- Explore the ethics of information access in the context of health equity and inclusive communication
- Identify strategies for compliance with public access policies
- Analyze authorship roles and responsibilities
- Prepare for negotiations with journal publishers
- Examine the ethics of impact metrics in the context of tenure, promotion, and career advancement
