How many homes has the Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons had? Where did Samuel Bard go to medical school? (hint: it wasn’t VP&S). Why is the medical school in Washington Heights? What was “the Yale Connection”? When were women admitted to the school?

If you’ve ever wondered about these or other questions relating to the history of VP&S, your chance to be enlightened is here.  On March 3, 2021 at 5:30pm, Stephen Novak, Head, Archives & Special Collections at the Augustus C. Long Health Sciences Library will present The Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons: A Brief History giving an overview of the school’s history from its founding in 1767 to its renaming in 2017.
