Join us for a lecture followed by an open lab to practice using R to visualize data!  

After this workshop, participants will be able to:  

• Evaluate whether R is the appropriate tool for their project 

• Distinguish between exploratory and explanatory visualization 

• Examine data distribution using a graphic tool  

• Create a simple data visualization piece using R
