The Augustus C. Long Health Sciences Library and Humanitarian Organization for Migration and Emergencies at Columbia University Irving Medical Center invite you to a dynamic panel discussion which will explore critical issues surrounding forced migration, marginalized populations, and healthcare. Participants will have the opportunitiy to enjoy delicious recipes from around the world, inspired by our panel.

By the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Engage in thought-provoking, interdisciplinary discussions about forced migration in relation to health outcomes

  • Describe the effect of forced migration on families

  • Connect with authoritative information surrounding forced migration and healthcare

  • Examine topics at the intersection of forced migration, marginalized populations and healthcare
